Roses are red,
violets are blue,
sugar is sweet,
but you don't want it in
your wedding gown
I know it doesn't rhyme but it does make a point. It's a scientific fact that dry cleaning alone does not remove sugar from your garment. Since most beverages and foods contain sugar, it is almost impossible to avoid getting some on your gown. If this sugar is not removed, it will caramelize in a short time, regardless of how well it was dry cleaned.
